A new realism in fight sound effects

This library is all about the fight. Smacking hits, bloody punches, heavy kicks, slaps, massive body falls and lots of cloth whooshes. We captured these raw and meaty sounds during eleven extensive recording sessions in different studios and in the field.

Terrifying hits, slaps, and punches

To achieve the most realistic and bone-chilling hits, kicks, slaps, claps, and punches, we employed innovative techniques. In our dedicated recording studio, we meticulously treated a deceased pig with an array of tools, capturing the raw intensity of each strike. We even enlisted the expertise of a professional trained boxer whose powerful punches made the pig tremble, resulting in truly convincing and impactful sound effects.

Authentic foley fight sequences

In addition to our studio foley sessions, we conducted specialized recording sessions featuring two martial arts fighters in a professional foley studio. This allowed us to create fresh and unique cloth and whoosh sound effects, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the fight scenes. Furthermore, we meticulously recorded small fight sequences, capturing the genuine sounds of close combat. These recordings provide an immersive and realistic experience for your projects.

Vegetable sessions

During three different recording sessions we captured lots of fruit and vegetable sounds with varying mic setups. We wrapped peaces of leather cloth around the vegetables to get even creepier sounding fleshy, gory, bone brakes and rips.

Finishing touches

Lastly, we took our carefully edited material to 48 Volt Studios in Hamburg, where we sent selected sounds through the finest analog outboard mastering gear. This meticulous process generated hot sounding variants that are sure to elevate your projects.
