The Hangar

The main challenge we faced while recording this library was getting permission to perform big explosion effects inside a building.
After a long period of research, we eventually found an abandoned flight hangar that was perfect for the recordings.

The different-sized rooms in the hangar provided us with a huge variety of indoor acoustic spaces where we could experiment with our explosives safely.

Indoor Detonations

We recorded this library with professional sound design work in mind and captured every explosion with multiple channels, featuring different microphone characteristics and perspectives.
Besides the many close and medium perspective options to pick from, this library also provides beautiful sounding 5.0 omni channel recordings captured from the distance.

Together with the source recordings we also deliver a carefully crafted set of designed explosion effects by only using the source material.
