This library boasts over 50 sound files, with the majority captured in discrete 5.0 surround sound. Our wide-spaced surround rig, equipped with five omnidirectional Sennheiser 8020 microphones, delivers an expansive, lush sound field with a maximum time-of-arrival effect. Through extensive testing, we’ve ensured that these recordings are perfect for cinematic sound design. Moreover, the spacious microphone setup allows for seamless mixing down to stereo, making them ideal for TV, games, or headphone setups. The stereo versions also preserve the pleasing width of the 5.0 recordings.
Geographic origins
From Corsica to Greece – Capturing remote mediterranean beauty
The heart of this library beats with the soul of the Mediterranean. The greater part of our recordings was sourced from the breathtaking landscapes of Corsica in France and the rugged Lycian coast of West Turkey. We’ve also ventured to the pristine natural realms of South Croatia and the serene island of Corfu in Greece, capturing nature at its purest.
